One can be a Christian because it finds its way into his life by placing it on a horizon of eternity. 

Or It can be because Christianity explains the origin of the universe and the roots of evil that surrounds us and continually tempts. 

Or Perhaps because it discovers in Catholic doctrine a means of humanization in combating vices and promoting virtues.

No shortage declares himself a Christian to preserve the roots of his family, his city, his race, his Homeland. 

The list of motives could be lengthened. But it would be incomplete and partial if you put aside the core of the issue.

Because being a Christian is, above all, letting yourself be found by Christ, welcoming the message of mercy from the Gospel, accepting your Church. 

In other words, only the Catholic status is fully explained when we discover that the gift precedes the answer, that grace cleanse sins. 

That gift, we know, is a particular person: the Son of the Father made man in the bosom of the Virgin Mary; the master of Nazareth who dies and rises for all.

Only when we recognize that the core of the Catholic faith do we come to live fully as Christians. Otherwise, we would be deprived of the essentials. 

Human history has seen The emergence of thousands of ideas, cultural movements, religious groups, reform projects, technical improvements.

But the only answer to the mystery of human existence, with its inexplicable drama of sins, sufferings, and deaths, is in this simple truth: 

"Because God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life "(Jn 3.16).
