Two weights and two measures
Let's learn the right ways to see and judge what happens around us

One of the hardest experiences in human life is to see how so many people, in the family, in social life, even at the international level, apply two weights and two measures with a surprising arbitrarily.

Cops patrol in a park. They are hard to challenge a peddler of balloons. Avoid the trails where drugs are illegally sold (this is based on a real fact…).

Parliamentarians report harshly on the corruption of politicians in the other party. They keep a grave silence in the face of the corruption of members of the party itself.

In Family, one accuses hard to another because it never helps in the needs of the grandmother. But it says nothing when another treats grandpa hard.

A moderator in a forum or blog complains the insults emitted by one of the participants while leaving free space for another who acts as an elephant in a piece of jewelry with total impunity.

When a presence made like this (and the list is enormous) or suffers them in their flesh, it feels to arise in its heart fire and an impulse to denounce the injustice, for reproaching harshly those who comment so much arbitrariness.

But Occasionally it would be advisable to look in the mirror to analyze if there are no occasions in which we incur these unfair behaviors.

Perhaps then discover that sometimes we smile benevolently before the "slides" of a friend while we apply an inflexible condemnation to similar "mistakes" of who is not so friendly...

We Remember, thus, the words of the Gospel:

If Our measure is favoritism, envy, thirst for vengeance, our judgment will be terrible.

On The other hand, if we learn to look for correct ways of seeing and judging what is happening around us, we will condemn all, all, injustices, kite-makers, and seek concrete ways to promote equitable treatment among those who live near or far from us.
