Confession to Christ
Author: P. Fernando Pascual, L.C | Source: Catholic.net

To confess Christ is a necessity of the heart. He who loves cannot hide his love. Whoever desires the good of others, cannot fail to offer them the best.
That's why every Catholic needs to confess to Christ. Not only with his words, for an advertisement loses its strength without the support of the testimony. Not only with his life: the example is embellished by the sincere words.
In the world millions of people do not know Christ, nor do they know that he came to save us, nor perceive the strength of his death and his resurrection.
While despair destroys many, while sin stifles many others, while greed ruthlessly advances, the baptized feel the same urgency that dominated the heart of St. Paul.
"And woe to me if I did not preach the gospel! If he did it on his own initiative, he would certainly be entitled to a reward. But if I make it forced, it is a mission that has been entrusted to me. But what is my reward? To preach the gospel handing free of charge, giving up the right bestowed on me by the Gospel "(1Co 9.16 18).
Also Saint John Paul II felt inside him a fire that led him to travel, to teach, to write, to talk with one another and to make the message of salvation reach more human beings. In his encyclical on the mission of the church he wrote:
"The Mission of Christ the Redeemer, entrusted to the church, is still far from being fulfilled. At the end of the second millennium after his coming, a global look at humanity shows that this mission is still in the beginning and that we must commit ourselves with all our energies in its service "(" Redemptoris Missio ", N. 1).
Time passes fast. Every day thousands of human beings seek the meaning of life and yearn, perhaps unwittingly, for a hand to help them discover the message that saves and leads to eternal bliss.
God grant me a new day. Wait, he almost begged my love. He caresses Me and purifies Me with his mercy. And he invites me, respectful but firmly, to not close my eyes to the needs of so many human beings.
If I am generous and accept your invitation, I will come out of myself and dedicate the best of my mind and heart to proclaim Christ to my brethren.
