Parish priest of Chorzow-Batory, archdiocese of Katowice, Poland. Known for his piety and ministry to the poor. Arrested on 13 April 1940 by Nazis for the crime of being a Catholic priest. Martyr.

gassed on 19 May 1942 in the concentration camp at Dachau, Oberbayern, Germany
