Nun in the monastery at Tabenna, Egypt who worked in the kitchen and pretended to be a simpleton so she could concetrate on her personal piety and prayer life, and not have to teach her sisters. To avoid being honoured by her house, she fled to a desert hermitage where she spent the rest of her days. She died of natural causes.
