A necklace, a rose, a book. Gifts. Most importantly, the affection that accompanied them.

Cleaning in the bathroom. Order in the cupboard. Well-ironed Clothes. In everything, honey.

More than gestures, actions, objects, what matters is the affection we put in everything.

Maybe We'll make a mistake. That book wasn't right. That picture's on the wall. But If there was affection, it was worth it.

Certainly, affection leads to seeking the attention that will be better for the loved one. If we fail, we will gladly repair with a caress or words of tenderness.

Affection Also illuminates our relations with God. Because Our Father of heaven has infinite love and desires hearts that love fully.

The Divine Affection explains the beauty of a carnation, the freshness of spring, the fascination of snowflakes, the solemnity of a beech forest.

That Affection is at the origin of the smile of a son of a few months, in the overflowing joy of a child, in the gaze in love with a young man, in the serenity of an adult or an old man.

In the way of life, receiving and giving affection allow us to find the meaning of everything we do, beautify the world with a particular touch of closeness in love.

Today I can open the eyes of the soul to discover what signs of affection God offers me and many good hearts and to see how I can respond with affection to so much love that comes free to the doors of my life...
