Bl. Conrad of Seldenbürden
Born in the century 1070 to the nobility, he was a member of the royal house of Seldenbüren. Founded and endowed Engelberg Abbey at Unterwalden, Switzerland. Benedictine lay-brother at Engelberg. Considered a martyr because he was killed on a trip to Zurich to defend the rights of the abbey.
He died murdered in 1126 at Zurich, Switzerland.
