Co-founder of the Sisters-Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration

Roman martyrology: In the village of Steyl in the Netherlands, Blessed Helena Stollenwerk, virgin, who worked with Blessed Arnold Janssen in the founding of the Congregation of the Sisters-Servants of the Holy Spirit and, having abandoned the role of superior, she surrendered to worship ( 1900).

Beatification date:  May 17, 1995 by Pope John Paul II

Short Biography

Born on November 28, 1852 in Rollensbroich, Rhineland Palatinate, Germany as Anna Helena Stollenwerk. Professed nun in the Sisters-Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration. Worked with Saint Arnold Janssen. Co-founder of the Sisters-Servants of the Holy Spirit.



She died on February 3, 1900 in Steyl, Limburg, Netherlands of natural causes.
