For a Family Friendly Super Bowl
We really do need to pray for the folks that planned and performed at the Super Bowl during halftime.

Millions of American parents have endured the discomfort of attempting to explain (or avoid explaining) what was going on during the Super Bowl halftime program. I expect many of the explanations were along the line of, "Oh, something went wrong....something got mixed up....they probably didn\´t mean for it to be like it looked...oooops, someone made a mistake."
I´m afraid that\´s what lots of us parents do when we are asked to explain something that we should not have to explain to a child. We try to avoid the issue, shift the conversation or pretend nothing really happened.
Frankly, I think the real answer goes more like this: "Not everyone who plans shows like this has good taste or common sense. This year, they planned something really awful. It is too bad we saw it. We need to pray that next year the people planning the program will do something that our whole family can enjoy together."
We really do need to pray for the folks that planned and performed at the Super Bowl during halftime. The program they give us was vulgar and tasteless. Either they didn´t know how disgusting it was or they didn´t care. Like I said...they need our prayers.
