The 1-855 HELP MY FAMILY hotline aims to defend undocumented workers and their families from imminent risk of deportation.

The association includes 35 groups of social service providers, 27 teams of specialists and community activists, 17 private law firms, federations of Mexican natives, as well as the Archdiocese of Chicago.

The 1-855 HELP MY FAMILY line will be attended by 67 trained volunteers to provide information and bring help to immigrant families in English, Spanish, Korean and Portuguese 24 hours a day. The center is located at the Mexican Consulate in Chicago.

The helpline will be financed with private funds as well as individual donations and is an attempt to create legal assistance, social service, support, and counseling service for immigrant families.
