How to Pray the Rosary
You begin the rosary by saying the Apostles Creed and then an Our Father for the Holy Father's intentions, Three Hail Mary's for an increase in the virtures of Faith,
Hope, and Charity (love) followed by a Glory Be.
Depending on the Day (see the Mysteries of the Day), begin the first decade of the
Rosary by saying an Our Father. While meditating
on the the first mystery (Ex: The Resurrection of Christ), say ten Hail Mary's and a Glory Be.
At the end of each decade some people will say the Fatima
Prayer (O My Jesus.....). You then move on to the second decade of the
Rosary and repeat the steps by saying 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Mary's, and 1 Glory Be.
At the End of the Rosary close by saying the Hail Holy Queen.
We believe in God,
the Father, the Almighty,
I believe in Jesus Christ, hi only Son, our Lord
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crcified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.
Hail Holy Queen!
Mother of mercy
hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To Thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To Thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, O most gracious Advocate,
Thine eyes of mercy towards us.
And after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
